What water cannot do alone.
Kanan is a Swiss functional drink. Sparkling, sugar-free, with a serious electrolyte load — for the adult who has quietly stopped accepting the soft drink as it has been sold.
The bright colours. The synthetic sweetness. The generic functionality. None of it for us. We made a different one, and we mean to keep it that way.
A flight. A workout. A night out.
The hours when hydration truly matters — and nothing on the menu fits. This is what we made.
A clean carbonation, lemon led. Stevia sweetened, never sugar. No caffeine. Sodium, potassium, magnesium in honest doses — formulated to do something, not to read well on a label.
Swiss made. Matte aluminium. One flavour: Citrus.
You wake. You lace. The can is cold from the fridge — the first taste mineral, not sweet. Electrolytes do what caffeine pretends to.
Between two meetings, between two screens. Not the fourth coffee, not the sweet detour. A drink that holds the line of attention.
The evening that runs long. Alcohol borrows tomorrow’s water — Kanan hands it back before you sleep.
Sodium, potassium, magnesium — 550mg in every can. What water alone cannot do.
I made this drink because I needed it. Hybrid training. Long flights. Long days that ask more than they give back. Nothing on the shelf did the job — every option came with alcohol, sugar, or chemicals. So I made what was missing.
No caffeine, by choice. A drink for any hour, including the ones near sleep. Recovery is too hard-won to trade for a quick lift.
We launch Autumn 2026 — quietly, on purpose. Thank you for being early.
— Marc, Founder
Yes. Kanan contains no sugar — its restrained sweetness comes from stevia (steviol glycosides), drawn from the leaf, in a dose kept deliberately low. The result is dry rather than sweet.
None, by choice. Kanan is a caffeine-free electrolyte drink — made for any hour of the day, including the ones near sleep.
Sodium, potassium and magnesium, as mineral salts — a serious load, formulated to do something rather than to read well on a label. The exact certified quantities are with the laboratory now; they will be printed on every can, and published here, once confirmed.
You likely are, more often than you think. Losing just 1–2% of your body water — before thirst even registers — measurably dulls concentration, mood and reaction time. An hour of training can cost up to a litre of sweat, and with it roughly a gram of sodium. A night out compounds it: alcohol suppresses the hormone that tells your kidneys to hold water. And an aircraft cabin sits at 10–20% humidity — half of what your body prefers. The morning headache, the heavy legs, the flat afternoon — usually not mysteries. Usually hydration.
Citrus — lemon-led, a clean carbonation, a dry finish. Closer to the discipline of water than to the sweetness of a soft drink.
It works as one — hydration for training, flights, long days and late evenings. We simply declined the neon branding that usually comes with the category.
